Temporary Finale

We talked about bridges. What was that anyway?... Otherwise, shared a few interesting topics about phenomenally miniature things in general. This blog really needed a new direction before it got started. For the time being Fenominimals will be taking a back burner to a more essential, yet enjoyable public statement. The phenomenal value of reading! As a writer, it is always a goal to showcase one’s work in a fashion which becomes a joyful read as an end result to the effort put forth. For this reason Charlotte’z We[b]log is taking a front seat in this writer’s mind and therefore will be allowed the creative focus to become a great set of words. Please excuse this closure and consider it only temporary while I hone in on this focus that is necessary for solid content within these other avenues which are already in place. And so, in the meantime, please visit www.charlottezweblog.blogspot.com for weekly posts regarding the life of a turtle, uncut. This young reptile is a growing young soul which will likely reach an age near 30 years or more. Each week, this currently, miniature little creature will provide updates on world events from the perspective of an age old species. It is sure likely that we may all have something to gain when viewing the world through the eyes of another. Or in wearing their shoes. Whatever fits. Regardless of species. Consider this a new movement. In this technologically advanced age whereupon individuals are becoming more individualistic, I want you to read to your kids. Encourage THEM to read. Charlotte’z We[b]log will feature recorded events for you and your family to enjoy weekly or you can simply read the content yourself and share it with your friends and family. Perhaps you may set aside twenty minutes per week to enjoy this story, together. Even as this very blog is a social media event… nobody said we can’t still do things together. Remember story hour when you were a kid, wasn’t that fun?! Any feedback you might offer regarding topics and ideas for things you may like to know are appreciated. In the meantime, we’ll see you at www.charlottezweblog.blogspot.com and don’t forget about other updates and services available via my blog and website www.scarletnathaniel.blogspot.com or www.scarletnathaniel.com. Bridges

What would you do with a miniature bridge? What kind of bridge did you think of when I asked that question? The Brooklyn Bridge or the Golden Gate maybe. Perhaps your thoughts vibrated in the direction of a bridge that one wears for teeth. Though, the question was about a MINIATURE bridge. Maybe we can envision a reproduction of a city, a Doll House or miniature construction site. Why? What would be the purpose of any such thing as a scale to size bridge, other than for an architect or engineers table. What about a lego set? There are likely plenty of things to do with material, miniature bridges, but what I am referencing is far deeper on the spectrum. What about a miniature bridge in disrepair. A minor little argument that never came of resolve. A little problem that never got fixed. Now what? Just a little something to think about for next time. Life Always Offers You a Second Chance - It’s called Tomorrow.

Stubbey

When I was a child, my family had a miniature sheep. Yes, there is a such thing, however, she was not supposed to be born this way. We think it happened because she was stillborn. After resuscitating her right off, we named her Stubbey. So called for her bubbly, tumbly thanks to the welcome into this world. She came, the first of a set of twins on a Spring Morning. Our first lambs for the year. Our first year raising sheep. - She was sooooo cute. (Insert awww face along with twisty eyebrows and wrinkled nose). - My family bottle fed and raised this young lamb as a house pet just as many families have dogs and cats. We raised her as our miracle baby. This event stays with me so significantly as I recall how the mother had immediately shoved her baby away when the little lamb was at first unresponsive to the oxygen she should be taking in at exit from the womb. This is the way of the wild. Should we treat our own, humankind this way - think of the [less] chaos there would be, because remember, sometimes phenomenal circumstances are derived of such minimal details or events. Though, as we all do dis-appreciate death and it is bred into our existence to survive, we live so long as we breath. I remember thinking of the compassion the mother ewe showed for us and still relief that she would not be required to keep after the little baby. She was confused to our antics to breath life into the cold, still body but obviously understood what at the moment we did not - she was not fit to care for twin lambs. Thus, the universal circle of life taking the responsibility from her and instead of death, that moment became life. When Stubbey finally died at the ripe age of four years (awfully young for even a healthy full grown ewe) we rejoiced because she had lived so long. She had been our own little circus. People from all around knew her as she traveled around in the back seat of our GMC on road trips and other adventures around town. She had been a phenomenal little thing. It was well into my adulthood before I realized what a true blessing this ‘piece of livestock’ had been. A fenominimal event depicting the significance of life and death in this outstanding universe which became the precept for my own love of understanding the extreme depth of each and every meaning, event and circumstance. Stubbey taught me that adversity is surmountable and in the end, it only matters that one has truly lived, breathed air and died to have been of significance in this bright and wonderful circle of circular motion. Life is Good Just BEING Alive.

Miniatures

Small things can be pretty amazing. Think about it. We all love something miniature - from miniature ponies to miniature race car hotwheels. They are SO cute! Consider children. They are cute because they are miniature human beings. Regardless if the poor child will grow up to become a homely person, that baby is CUTE! Same goes for little tiny reproductions of animals, houses, furniture, tupperware even. Something smaller than scale equals neat, cute and largely unbelievable. Furthermore comparing to something giant which intrigues yet is somehow not nearly as orderly as these little phenomenons. Mostly, miniature things are amazing because something was replicated from somebody’s imagination. What was once of what we could know to be big or powerful, almighty even, has become small enough for us to hold in our hand. This, just such as an almighty power may gaze upon this world; a miniature ball of water and gasses in a universe beyond fathomable replication. And so, it must be an extraordinary fate for this miniature creation (whatever it is) to be reformed in this large and oversized world, which isn’t so big after all when you consider the aforementioned. Likewise, for the grain of sand previously discussed as to why we do SO love miniature things. Very miniature rocks! Is that cool or what!?! For those that do not think full grown rocks are super neat, we will have to come back to you later. Rocks are marvelous specimens, miniature or mountainous. One must imagine how many grains of sand it may take to create a mountain. The expanse of so many beaches throughout our beautiful planet must hold the capacity to build walls upon our seas. Those tiny little pebbles mean a bit something more when you are kicking your toes through the sand now, don’t they? Perhaps this is our infatuation with pocket sized things. Perhaps we might like even to believe that our very own creator also holds a likeness to ‘carrying’ things that are small and darling, as we all are. As everything in creation is. Friends, I assure you, all things miniature are either cute or neat or simply enchanting enough that one must place it in one’s hand, or touch it, or gaze at it for sheer pleasure of utilizing our own cognition to create the image of the larger more established epicenter of creation. We can see the ‘baby’ tonka truck and compare it to the real thing in so much as we try to compare ourselves to our own creator. The result of miniature things has become what this ever expansive universe is. Phenomenal or Fenominimal.

Lots of Tiny Rocks

Phenomenal things happen sometimes in the most miniscule places. Consider granules of sand. These tiny pieces of rock span the world. Sand is in everything we are exposed to. On the cleanest places on earth, you might find a grain of sand. This is merely a teaser to get you thinking. What is the purpose of the grain of sand on this earth in comparison to the human being? Will you answer with superiority or general humbleness? Until next time...
